Hawaii Medical Board License Service
The Hawaii medical license typically takes 40 to 120 days to issue from the date that the application is filed with the Hawaii Med Board. All work history and employment for the past 5 years is required to be verified. The Hawaii Med Board does not recognize the LMCC Examination. (One of 5 State Boards that do not). Hawaii tends to be strict concerning their Educational, Training, and Examination Requirements. The State has a standard licensure process. Unfortunately, Hawaii does not offer a Temporary License at this time. The Hawaii Medical Board does not require the applications to go before a Board Meeting to be approved.
Typically, waivers are not granted to their post Examination and Educational Requirements. The Physician is only required to report offenses that are within a general time window which begins during the medical application process.
